This weekend will be particularly busy for MPS Agency photographers, who will simultaneously cover the 24 Heures Moto in Le Mans, the FIA WEC in Imola, and Formula 1 in Jeddah.

The Return of Endurance Motorcycle Racing to Le Mans

As tradition dictates, the 24H Moto kicks off the 2025 FIM EWC World Endurance Championship season. This race is a true legend, a prestigious achievement that major manufacturers dream of adding to their record, setting the tone for the championship. Suzuki, Yamaha, BMW, Honda, and Kawasaki will all be present for this 48th edition with their official teams. The Yoshimura SERT Motul team will have a tough challenge ahead as they strive to secure Suzuki’s potential 16th victory. Meanwhile, BMW, the only European manufacturer among the favorites, will aim for a historic win on the Sarthe circuit. With the often-unpredictable weather conditions at this time of year, this edition promises to be fiercely contested. (2024 & 2025 EWC Gallery)

FIA WEC on Ferrari’s Home Turf

The FIA WEC returns to Europe, making a stop in Italy at the Imola circuit. After an opening round in Qatar dominated by Ferrari, competitors in the Hypercar category will be eager to thwart the Maranello brand’s plans on home soil. In LMGT3, the battle remains as tight as ever, with Corvette having fought until the very last second to clinch victory over McLaren and BMW at the Losail circuit. The narrow and highly technical Imola track promises plenty of drama over the six-hour race and is sure to deliver its share of surprises. (FIA WEC Gallery)

F1 Continues Its Marathon in Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia will host the fifth round of the Formula 1 season at the Jeddah circuit, in use since 2021. This track is one of the fastest on the calendar (with an average race lap speed of 245 km/h, set by Lewis Hamilton in 2021). It has produced two spectacular opening editions and is renowned for its numerous high-speed corners, blind turns, and narrow layout—features typical of street circuits, where mistakes are rarely forgiven. Lando Norris and McLaren will have a tough task ahead as they fight to maintain their lead in both the Drivers’ and Constructors’ Championships (Formula 1 gallery).
